De Natuurlijke Ruimte is a documentary about two architects with two seemingly opposing philosophies. Dom Hans van der Laan represents rational architecture opposing Ton Alberts, who represents organic architecture. By showing the contrast in the way the two architects work, director Frank Scheffer exposes the relation between reason and intuition.
